Me and my bro inlaw then spent the best part of a week in evenings checking for boost/vacuum leaks, checking voltages on sensors, linked up to monitor fuel trims etc and nothing (well the long term fuel trim were 8!). He went on to say he had had several of them in cars he has rolling roaded and they are never more than.1 out against his dastek system where as some of the innovate were quite often less accurate. The next day my flexi pipe split so had to replace the cat and re install the wideband sensor. I started with nothing and still got most of it left. Another way to check if your air flow meter is faulty is to unplug it when the cars idling. If the car continues to idle same as before un-plugging the Afm, usually that points to a faulty air flow meter.
