Mass air flow sensor problems nissan k12

Have You had an "emissions" test carried out? I have changed the lamda sensor in the exhaust manifold before the CAT and it run really well for 2months with good mpg but now the light is back on and the code is P1143. I have the light reset now but i havent had another emmission tes to kow whether its all functioning ok again or not. God help the car if the fault comes back after that! Also known as a Mass airflow meter or mass airflow sensor. This is because a Lambda sensor code does not actually mean the Lambda is at fault, It tells you that the Lambda signal is not what it is expected to be. I am pretty sure with all the O rings and other rubber seals theres not an air leak. Looking at fuel trim should give some indication. Besides its run for months without the light then it suddenly comes on?

Low fuel pressure - not sure how to check that one or the injectors.

A MAF could be the cause of an engine light or warning light on your dashboard. Certainly at the opposite end - those universal lamda sensors are no good dispite what they say. Could be a wirng fault due to a connection. It seems to me there a lot of guessing what are the probably causes but noone seems to have ever actually dealt with this one al-be-it seems to be a common fault.
